This year Sally Bishop, a Trick Rider who resides in Calgary is returning to ride at the auction.

Our riders will be on the horses while fund raiser takes place……
be sure to ask them about their ride!

Each week, from September to April, dozens of “challenged riders” from age five to adult are given the opportunity to experience the sport of horseback riding. Forgetting wheelchairs and therapy, riders with challenges like autism, spina bifida and down syndrome, spend a carefree forty five minutes on horseback, astride specially selected mounts and assisted by trained volunteers. Smiles are as a wide as the horses’ broad backs, and for many, this activity is the highlight of their week.
